MassSunday 12:30pm (Extraordinary Form), 6:00 pm. Various times during the week
The Sacrifice of the Mass is the centre of all that we do and all that we are here. Mass in the Ordinary Form of the Roman Rite is offered in our Chapel every Sunday in term-time at 6.00 pm, and throughout the week. Mass is usually celebrated on most (if not all) days of the week.
The Mass is also offered in the Extraordinary Form of the Roman Rite by request of the Bishop, at 12:30 pm on Sundays and throughout the week. |
Talks & EventsThroughout the term, the Chaplaincy organises a series of thought-provoking talks revolving around a wide variety of topics on all things Catholic - be they theology, history or current affairs! These talks are open to the public, and lend themselves to a question-and-answer session at the end of each of them.

Adoration & BenedictionThursday 6:15 - 6:45 pm in term-time
We build our life as a Chaplaincy on the source and summit of the Christian life - Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament of the Altar. The Real Presence takes centre stage during the Consecration in the Mass, but that sacred moment is specially prolonged in Eucharistic Adoration, where we keep our Lord company. Adoration begins at 6:15 to 6:45 pm on Thursday evenings, ending with Benediction.

ConfessionTypically 30 minutes before Mass, or upon request.
Confession (also known as the Sacrament of Penance or the Sacrament of Reconciliation) opens us to receive the guarantee of God's mercy, and reconciles us with God, the Church and our neighbours. Confessions are heard in the sacristy before each Mass, and upon request. Click here to send an email and schedule an appointment.

Catechesis Friday 7:00-8:00pm and Sunday 4:30pm in term-time
The 'We Believe' sessions on Fridays from 7:00-8:00pm take place in the Chaplaincy bar. We discuss various topics, such as Catholic teaching and spirituality, in a laid-back atmosphere to solidify our understanding of the faith.
We also have the Men's Group on Wednesdays and Women's Group meeting weekly. These aim to discuss living as a observant Catholic in today's world, giving a practical side to catechesis. |
