The Mass is the centre of all that we do and all that we are here. Mass is celebrated in our Chapel every Sunday in term time at 6pm, and throughout the week. Mass is usually celebrated on Wednesdays at 1:15pm and Thursday evenings at 7pm. Please see the 'This Week' button above for all times.
We try to build our life as a Chaplaincy on the source and summit of the Christian life - the Holy Eucharist. That is most powerfully and importantly expressed in Mass (Sunday, and during the week), and is extended by regular times of Eucharistic Adoration. We gather for Adoration at 6:15 to 6:45 on Thursday evenings.
The Sacrament of Reconciliation opens us to receive the guarantee of God's mercy, and reconciles us with God, the Church and our neighbours. Fr. Rupert offers the Sacrament in the sacristy before each Mass, and by request. Click the banner to send an email and schedule an appointment.
PrayCast is an exciting new initiative! We are putting together a kaleidoscope of prayer in our community; every day for the next month a member of the Chaplaincy community will post a 3 minute video on the subject of prayer. Please consider joining in, and be sure to download the latest PrayCast every day!
Prayerful reading of the Bible is an ancient form of prayer that God is using again in a powerful and moving way. Our Lectio Divina Group meets to read the Sunday Gospel in a spirit of prayer, listening, and community. Why not bring a Bible, come along and join us?
Most lunchtimes, at 1:15pm, we join together for devotional prayer. Please see the bulletin, and check the 'This Week' button above, for dates. We enjoy a varied diet from the treasury of devotions the Church offers to us: the Holy Rosary; the Chaplet of Divine Mercy; the Stations of the Cross, to name but a few.
Turning our foundation of prayer into missionary action in the community we engage with numerous projects in the city which work with the homeless, refugees and many other causes. Details are available after Sunday Mass or on our facebook page.
